At Church of the Living God, Temple #230, we want people to connect to God through Jesus, to grow as they follow Jesus, and to serve Jesus from the heart. In other words, what God has put in you, he has use for in his service! There is a place here where the Lord can use you!
Hebrews 10:25 tells us that we are not to neglect coming together with one another. In this way, we are able to connect to encourage one another and to worship our Lord together!
Growth can be a challenge and yet is rewarding! Any lack of growth on our part stifles the growth of others! Come let us grow in the knowledge of the Word.
Serving is work! Faith without works is dead! The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. There is a passion inside of you that can be used to serve the body of Christ! You are welcome to help us serve our community!
A church without children is a church with no future! In Kingdom Kids your little ones will take part in age appropriate introduction to the bible and continued lessons to contribute to their growth and maturation in Christ. Kingdom Kids operates each Sunday in conjunction with morning worship service from 10am-12pm.
The youth of our church hold a special place not only in the heart of God, but in hearts of this church. We clearly understand that a sense of belonging is what our youth desire. Here at Church of the Living God, there is a place for our young people to be involved in meaning ways! They have so many brilliant ideas to contribute and express. The Young People's Progressive Union (YPPU), although open to all ages, prioritizes the needs of the Youth and teaches them how serving in church and the community, allows them to honor the past while contributing to both the present and the future!
Servant leadership, wisdom, direction and growth are just a few words that describe our seasoned community of worshippers! Love and a sense of family has held our church community together for over 100 years. Our adult's involvement in all ministries from the usher board to the fine arts ministry is a piece of the bigger picture to ensuring that the Word of God is introduced to the lost and passed down generation to generation.
